What is Guided Meditation?

Guided meditation is meditation with the help of a guide. It's not considered a true type of meditation (often referred to as a guided visualisation) but it's a great way to introduce yourself to meditation. It’s one of the easiest ways to enter into a state of deep relaxation and inner stillness, and it’s one of the most powerful ways to eliminate stress and bring about positive personal life changes.

I will usually ask you to sit or lie down with a cosy blanket and pillows to make you as comfortable as possible. You then listen while i lead you through a series of relaxing visualisations. As you gradually relax and become more and more still, stress fades away, and your mind becomes clearer.

While you are in this deeply relaxed state of mind, your subconscious is open to positive suggestions, and I will use this time to take you on an inner journey that is designed to improve aspects of your life we have discussed in advance. For example, a guided meditation might be tailored towards personal empowerment, positive thinking, emotional healing or spiritual development.

These sessions can be performed indoors or outdoors in one of my garden mediation areas, depending on the weather and type of journey you want. We can have an interactive session where we discuss your journey reactions as we go along or just lie back and listen while enjoying the relaxing visualisations. I can also combine sound healing, crystal healing and reiki into the meditation if desired, all tailored to your needs.
